Optic fiber
Yes, always after the XTA fiber optic installation has been carried out.
Installing Fiber Optic with XTA has no cost to you. If before 1 year has passed since installation you decide to unsubscribe from our services, you must return the equipment to us in good condition. If these are damaged or broken, the amount of €150 will have to be paid. After that first year, the equipment will not be claimed.
You can take a speed test at speedtest.net. We recommend that you take the test by connecting the computer to a network cable, as this is the technology that allows the highest speed, and this is the only device connected to the network.
Speed is guaranteed by cable, Wi-Fi will be reduced. The result will always be correct depending on whether we use a suitable network cable (category 5e or higher) and the device with which we connect can reach these speeds (gigabyte network card).
To unsubscribe internet service with XTA, send an email from the contact address to baixes@xta.cat. This email must include:
– The owner’s ID.
– The specific service you want to unsubscribe from.
– The date from which you want to stop receiving the service.
– The reason for the leave.
In order to bring the optical fiber from the street into your house, the installation takes an average time of 2 hours to be completed.
In the case of hiring Fiber Optic, the average is one week, depending on the installers’ schedule.
To register with us, we need the ID card, telephone number and bank account number of the holder.
Fiber Optic is the medium used in the best data networks. A very thin filament of transparent material, glass or plastic materials, through which pulses of light are sent inside, that represent the data to be transmitted. The main benefits that Fiber Optic brings to users are the high speed (up to 1000Mb) in downloading and uploading data and content to the Internet. Unlike ADSL, Fiber Optics is much more resilient in unfavorable conditions, safer and more reliable, as the fibers do not lose light thanks to total reflection.

In the case of hiring radio frequency, the average is about 3-4 days, depending on the schedule of the installers.

For contracting without permanence, an initial payment of €180 is made (€150 if the payment is made to the technician on the same day of installation).

Radiofrequency works by transmitting signals in the form of waves through an antenna. The installer places this antenna at the highest point of the user’s home and with a direct vision to one of the nearest Internet signal repeaters.
Mobile
Certainly, if you run low on data any month, you can add an extra data bundle. It’s valid for the current month, doesn’t renew automatically, and activates instantly.
If your number has triple coverage, you can check your data usage in the XTA Zone. If you prefer, we are available 24 hours a day to assist you by phone. Call us at 938975200 and we will inform you of your mobile usage.
Voicemail is initially inactive. Call us to activate it, and we’ll send you a code to set it up.

Si, el Roaming es gratuito dentro de la Zona 1, pero hace falta que antes de marchar lo actives. Si tu numeración tiene triple cobertura lo puedes hacer a través de la Zona XTA y en caso de que tengas otra cobertura nos puedes trucar para activarlo. De este modo te informaremos también en qué zona pertenece tu destino.
Si trucas desde el extranjero más a menudo, puedes hacerlo contratando un bono adicional de llamadas internacionales. Este se renueva mensualmente hasta que lo quieras dar de baja. Consulta las posibilidades trucando!

Yes, roaming is free within Zone 1, but you need to activate it before you leave. If your number has triple coverage, you can do so through the XTA Zone and if you have other coverage, you can contact us to activate it. This way, we will also inform you which zone your destination belongs to.
If you roam from abroad more often, you can do so by contracting an additional international calling plan. This is renewed monthly until you want to cancel it. Check out the possibilities by roaming!

With XTA, you get triple coverage to stay connected all the time. Roaming is available between Yoigo, Orange, and Movistar networks.
To switch to us, we’ll need the ID card of the account holder and a bank account number.
Once you’ve used up your data, you’ll experience reduced speed until the 1st of the following month when your tariff resets.
Landline plans
Yes, XTA is fully compatible with telephone help service.
It is crucial to notify the need for this service, as we need to adapt the line with this specific system.
Remember that the XTA landline works over the Internet (router), and if it goes offline, the telephone help service will not work.
You need to let our office staff know. We will tell you which numbers you have associated to your answering machine to turn it on/off.
From the day the documents are processed until portability is done, it takes a maximum of 4 working days.
The first action we recommend is to turn the router off and on. If the incident persists, call our technical service.
You’ll need to hire or have hired an XTA Internet service.
No, you will always have a landline. One day before the change takes place, we will call you to inform you that the next morning your number will be XTA and you will need to connect the phone line to our router to finish the portability.

Yes. You can watch live HD video, download footage, and manage your system—all from the app.
It is not essential, but if you already have XTA fiber, the security system connects directly and guarantees an even faster response.

The system uses dual communication channels (4G and Wi-Fi). If one is blocked, the other remains active. Tampering attempts are detected and reported to our monitoring center.
The alarm panel has a built-in battery and mobile connection. It will keep working and notify
the monitoring center even during power outages or internet issues.
